With the help of dedicated team of doctors, the department of neurology is responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with brain, spine, nerve and muscle diseases. The department runs regular subspecialty clinic like Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders clinic, epilepsy clinic and stroke clinic. Latest treatment facilities like thrombolysis for stroke patients, Deep brain stimulation surgery for Parkinson’s disease and Botox injection for spasticity and dystonia are provided in the institute. The department has a thriving neuro-electrophysiology lab for investigations like Nerve Conduction study (NCS), electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalogram (EEG).
