- Dr Sucheta has recently completed online Fellowship in Musculoskeletal ultra sound in Pain Medicine from Daradia Pain Clinic,Kolkata in October 2023
- She has recently completed American Heart Association (AHA) certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider course.
- She joined Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata in 2019 in the Department of Neurorehabilitation. Now she is working as a Consultant with constant endeavor to improve the services of the department and patient care.
- She started her medical career from R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. She completed her MBBS in 2007
- She joined IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, in 2009 for obtaining Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy (DMRT)
- She has done the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) Certificate Course in Palliative Care in 2010
- She completed her MD in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in 2015, with a gold medal for securing first position in MD in Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. She has undergone meticulous training in Pediatric rehabilitation, Neurorehabilitation, Cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, Spinal cord injury rehabilitation and Rehabilitation of various other Musculo-skeletal conditions during this period
- She worked as a Senior Resident in the same hospital for next 3 years, where she was involved in the teaching of post-graduate students of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation along with research and clinical works related to Disability assessment and rehabilitation of disabled persons.
- She is keen in doing research works and has done various studies in Cerebral Palsy, Stroke and Rehabilitation Robotics. She was the Chief Investigator of the very first research work done on Rehabilitation Robotics in India.
- She has published research papers in various indexed journals.
- She has also attended various national & international conferences as a speaker and presented her research papers.
- She has received the prestigious Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (IAPMR) Gold medal for best research paper presentation in 2014 and various other awards.
- She got training in Neurorehabilitation from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai in 2018 during the course IMPACT III
- She has also worked as a Senior Resident in Clinical Oncology in Delhi State Cancer Institute in 2018 as she is passionate about the rehabilitation of the cancer patients
- Out of her interest in Palliative Care, she has done observership in Department of Palliative Care, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2018
- Very recently she has done Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from Daradia Pain Hospital, Kolkata in 2019
- She is a Life member of Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (IAPMR) & Indraprastha Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (IPARM), Indian Federation of Neurorehabilitation (IFNR) and International Society for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Pain Medicine (ISMPM).
