Hands-on cadaveric workshop

May I wish you greetings from Kolkata, the city of joy. You will be glad to know that the Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata ( I-NK) with WFNS foundation is organizing an academic course and live surgery from 29th Sept’ 23 to 1st Oct’ 23 to be held at the Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata. This will be preceded by a Hands-on cadaveric workshop on skull base neurosurgery under the aegis of Association of Neuroscientists of Eastern India (ANEI) on 28th of Sept’ 23 at the Anatomy Dissection Hall at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital. Dr. Basant Misra, Prof. Vinco Dolenc, Prof. Hirotoshi Sano and many other International faculties will share their experience and knowledge in this academic extravaganza.

Prof Dr Vinko V Dolenc

Prof Dr Vinko V. Dolenc has introduced microsurgical techniques in neurosurgeries in the beginning of his specialisation in neurosurgery in the former Yugoslavia. He performed the first microsurgery of a damaged peripheral nerve in 1969. He is among the pioneers of micro-neurosurgery and skull base neurosurgery.
